MEET THE EDITOR-IN-CHIEF

I was born in Greenville Mississippi and raised in the rocky mountains of Wyoming. I traveled out to California to spend the summer with my older sister after graduating high school in 1991 where I signed with my first modeling agency called Prima. I traveled to Japan, Italy and Paris on contract for the first three years before returning to the states to work between Miami and New York, a few years later I decided to come back to work and live in Los Angeles.

In the summer of 2001 my daughter lost her left eye in an accident, which altered the course of my life and moved me deeper into the medical community for the next several years. It was during this trying time I fell inward with my thoughts and began to see the reality and needs of others who were struggling under the same or worse circumstances.

In 2003 I picked up a crochet needle to make my nephew a scarf for Christmas and not long after, the idea and concept for Sunshine Scarves was born. Sunshine Scarves is a luxury brand knitwear company that sells handmade scarves, capes, wraps and unique specialty items to raise money for selected charities and individuals with special needs.
